How-to... Recommendations for coordination
20-minutes for preparing TaskPacks for Arena
The Process Manager should spend an average of 20 minutes preparing the TaskPack for the following day. If it takes longer, it may indicate that the Process or TaskPack is poorly constructed.
Executing TaskPacks in One Day
Each TaskPack should be started and finished in one workday to aid in coordination and transparency.
Real-time Coordination
The Process Manager must be present throughout the day to monitor task execution. Doers should not work on TaskPacks unsupervised until they are well-trained. Communication should be focused on the TaskPacks and should not interfere with their work.
Proactive Coordination
The Process Manager should initiate communication with the Doers and stay informed about the execution of the TaskPacks. Doers should accept the Process Manager as help, and everyone should work together as a team toward a common result.
Distributing Workload among Doers
TaskPacks must be evenly distributed among Doers to prevent overburdening and perceived unfairness.
Absence or Incompetence of Doers
In the case of absence or incompetence, others should be trained to execute the TaskPacks. The Process Manager needs to step in if necessary.
One Process - One Team
All TaskPacks are connected in a single Core process, and Doers should understand that their work is part of a team effort toward a final result.
